Cedar & Shore Studio offers digital products, apps, creative services, photography sessions, branding, and web design. Because our work is delivered digitally, created custom for each client, or accessible instantly after purchase, all sales are final unless otherwise stated in this policy.
We believe in clarity, fairness, and transparency. While refunds are not offered under normal circumstances, we will always review situations where expectations were not met due to our error.
1. Digital Products, Apps & Downloads
All digital items—including apps, tools, templates, presets, calculators, and downloadable files—are:
- delivered instantly
- non‑returnable
- non‑refundable
Because digital files cannot be “returned,” all digital product sales are final.
Refunds may be considered only if:
- the file is corrupted or fails to download
- you receive the wrong file
- a technical issue on our end prevents access
If an issue occurs, we will provide a corrected file or replacement at no cost.
2. Photography Sessions
Photography retainers and session fees are:
- non‑refundable
- non‑transferable
- required to secure your date
Refunds may be considered only if:
- Cedar & Shore Studio cancels your session and cannot reschedule
- we fail to deliver your final gallery within the agreed timeframe
- a promised deliverable is omitted due to our oversight
Weather, illness, or rescheduling policies are outlined in your Client Agreement.
3. Branding & Web Design Services
Branding and web design projects require a non‑refundable retainer to begin work.
Refunds are not offered for:
- change of mind
- creative preference differences
- delays caused by missing content or communication
- work already completed
Refunds may be considered only if:
- we fail to deliver the agreed‑upon scope
- a major deliverable is missing
- we cancel the project before work begins
Any refund issued will be proportional to the work not yet completed.
4. Affiliate Links & Third‑Party Purchases
Some pages on our site include affiliate links. Purchases made through these links are:
- processed by third‑party retailers
- governed by their refund and return policies
- not handled by Cedar & Shore Studio
We cannot issue refunds for products purchased through affiliate partners.
5. Misrepresentation, Errors, or Oversight
We will review refund requests if:
- a service was not delivered as promised
- a deliverable differs substantially from what was described
- a digital product was misrepresented
- an error on our part prevented you from receiving what you purchased
If confirmed, we may offer:
- a corrected file
- a replacement
- a partial refund
- a full refund (rare, case‑by‑case)
6. What Is Not Eligible for Refunds
Refunds are not offered for:
- digital downloads after delivery
- apps or tools after access is granted
- creative preference differences
- dissatisfaction with subjective style
- missed sessions or no‑shows
- delays caused by client communication
- third‑party purchases via affiliate links
- work already completed in branding or web design
7. How to Request a Review
If you believe your situation qualifies for an exception, contact us within 7 days of receiving your final product or gallery.
Include:
- your name
- order or session details
- a description of the issue
- screenshots or examples (if applicable)
