By purchasing a digital product, booking a photography session, commissioning creative services, or using this website, you agree to the following Terms and Conditions. These terms create clarity, set expectations, and support a smooth experience for everyone.
1. Services Offered
Cedar & Shore Studio provides a range of digital and creative services, including:
- Digital products such as wallpapers, presets, templates, guides, and downloadable creative tools
- Web‑based micro‑apps and digital utilities
- Photography sessions, including portraiture, lifestyle, editorial, and nature‑inspired work
- Brand identity design, including logos, visual systems, and creative direction
- Website design and development
- Affiliate link pages and curated product recommendations
All services and products are subject to availability, scope agreement, and payment terms.
2. Booking, Purchasing & Payment
Digital Products & Apps
- Delivered instantly after purchase.
- All sales are final due to the nature of digital goods.
- If you receive the wrong file or experience a technical issue, we will correct it promptly.
Photography, Branding & Web Design Services
- A non‑refundable retainer is required to secure your project or session date.
- Retainers reserve time, planning, and creative resources and are applied toward the final balance.
- Remaining balances are due by the agreed‑upon date or project milestone.
Payment Methods
We process payments securely through Stripe. You may use major credit cards, debit cards, Apple Pay, Google Pay, or other Stripe supported methods.
Taxes
Applicable taxes are calculated automatically based on your location.
3. Cancellation & Rescheduling (Services Only)
Photography Sessions
- One complimentary reschedule is allowed with at least 72 hours’ notice.
- Additional reschedules require a new retainer.
- Cancellations within 72 hours result in forfeiture of the retainer.
- Cancellations with more than 72 hours’ notice may apply the retainer to a future session within 6 months, subject to availability.
- No‑shows are considered canceled and non‑refundable.
- Weather or illness reschedules are accommodated without penalty.
Branding & Web Design Projects
- Retainers are non‑refundable.
- Project cancellations after work has begun are billed for work completed to date.
- Delays caused by lack of communication or missing materials may extend timelines.
4. Digital Product Licensing & Usage Rights
Unless otherwise stated:
- Digital downloads are for personal use only.
- You may not resell, redistribute, or claim the work as your own.
- Commercial licensing is available upon request.
- Micro‑apps and digital tools may include additional licensing terms displayed at purchase.
5. Image Rights & Copyright
- All images created by Cedar & Shore Studio are protected under U.S. copyright law.
- Clients receive personal‑use rights to delivered images.
- Commercial use requires written permission.
- Cedar & Shore Studio may use images for portfolio, marketing, and promotional purposes unless you opt out in writing before your session.
6. Print Products & Turnaround Times
If print products are offered:
- Orders are processed upon full payment and image approval.
- Turnaround times vary by product and lab.
- Rush orders may be available for an additional fee but are not guaranteed.
7. Affiliate Links & Recommendations
Cedar & Shore Studio may share affiliate links to products we use and recommend.
- Some links may generate a small commission at no additional cost to you.
- All recommendations reflect genuine use and experience.
- Affiliate earnings help support the creation of free content and tools.
8. Limitation of Liability
Cedar & Shore Studio is not liable for:
- device incompatibility
- data loss
- user error
- third‑party software issues
- delays caused by illness, weather, or circumstances beyond our control
Our liability is limited to the amount paid for the product or service.
9. Privacy & Data Protection
- We collect only the information necessary to process orders and deliver services.
- Personal data is never sold or shared.
- You may request access to or deletion of your data at any time.
- Digital purchases and accounts are handled securely through WooCommerce and Stripe.
10. Governing Law
These Terms and Conditions follow the laws of the State of Washington. Any disputes will be resolved under Washington jurisdiction.
