A celebration of community, spring light, and the quiet beauty of the Friendship Garden

The Sequim–Shisō Sister City Association welcomed neighbors, families, and visitors to an afternoon of creativity and connection in the Friendship Garden at Carrie Blake Park. Cedar & Shore Studio was honored to offer complimentary portrait sessions during the event, photographed among the blossoms, pathways, and soft early spring light.

Portrait Sessions

Complimentary Portraits

During the open house, guests were invited to sign up for a portrait experience photographed on location in the garden. A limited number of sessions were offered between 2 and 3 PM, with sign-ups taken in person from 12 to 2 PM. Attendants helped guests complete release forms and confirmed each session time.

  • A web-ready image delivered through an online gallery
  • One full-resolution, print-ready digital file delivered through Google Drive

About the Event

Friendship Garden Open House

Hosted by the Sequim–Shisō Sister City Association, the open house brought together cultural activities, spring blooms, and community creativity. Guests enjoyed:

  • Kite decorating
  • Paper crafts
  • Portrait station
  • Digital story tours
  • Garden tours at 1 PM and 2 PM
  • Ribbon cutting at 11:45 AM
