Cedar & Shore Studio is committed to creating an inclusive, accessible experience for all visitors. We believe that creativity, storytelling, and connection should be barrier‑free, and we strive to ensure that everyone can access our website, digital products, and services with independence and dignity.

1. Our Commitment

We aim to make our website, apps, digital downloads, and client services accessible to people of all abilities. Accessibility is an ongoing practice, and we continually review and improve our digital spaces to support a wide range of needs, including visual, auditory, motor, and cognitive accessibility.

2. Measures We Take

To support accessibility across our website and digital tools, we:

  • use readable, high‑contrast typography
  • provide alt text for images and descriptive labels where possible
  • design clear, consistent navigation
  • test content across multiple devices and browsers
  • support keyboard navigation for major site functions
  • structure content with proper headings for screen readers
  • offer multiple ways to contact us for support or accommodations

For in‑person services, we offer flexible session formats and locations to meet diverse needs whenever possible.

3. Known Limitations

While we work toward full accessibility, some areas may still present challenges:

  • older blog posts may not yet include complete alt text or updated formatting
  • certain interactive features or third‑party embeds may not be fully optimized for assistive technologies
  • some digital tools or apps may have limited accessibility depending on device or platform

We welcome feedback and address issues as quickly as possible.

We strive to follow the Web Content Accessibility Guidelines (WCAG) 2.1 Level AA, which outline best practices for accessible digital experiences.

We also aim to align with applicable state and federal accessibility laws, including:

  • the Americans with Disabilities Act (ADA)
  • Section 508 of the Rehabilitation Act

Our efforts include:

  • providing alternative text for images
  • maintaining readable contrast ratios
  • supporting keyboard navigation
  • designing content compatible with screen readers and assistive technologies

5. Third‑Party Content

Some areas of our website include embedded content or tools from third‑party providers (such as video players, social media embeds, or affiliate links). These services may have their own accessibility limitations outside our control.

We encourage you to contact us if you encounter issues with any embedded or third‑party elements.

6. Need Assistance or Want to Report an Issue?

If you experience any accessibility barriers, need accommodations, or want to share suggestions, we’re here to help.

7. Continuous Improvement

Accessibility is part of our values—rooted in respect, creativity, and community care. We regularly review our website, apps, and digital products to improve usability and welcome feedback from clients, collaborators, and accessibility advocates.
